It’s okay to turn off the news.
To check out sometimes.
It’s not weak—it’s wise. It means you understand the work ahead.
Find a few trusted sources to keep you informed.
And then go back to what you live for:
Your children. Your partner. Your family. Your friends.
Your faith. Your purpose. Your calling.
Your art. Your writing. Your garden.
That’s what will sustain you in the dark days ahead.
And to those who live for “owning the libs”—consider us owned.
Because we will not spend whatever days of peace we have left arguing with clowns. We have better things to do.
— On that note, we’re shifting the tone a bit.
📖 Over the next few weeks, we’ll be doing a soft launch of two new journals:
🟣 Pleasure & Power — our sexual health journal, launching with a full series on the female orgasm:
✨ What is it, really?
✨ How can you access it—alone or with a partner?
✨ Why does it matter, and what does it heal?
🟡 Roots & Wings — our parenting channel, starting with this question:
✨ How do we raise the next generation of young men?
I have two small boys (4 and 1.5) and a 4-year-old daughter. And I’m constantly walking the line—trying to nurture our boys while fully reckoning with the danger so many women face today.
It’s not as simple or straightforward as the female orgasm. But it’s just as necessary.
I don’t have the answers. But I’m ready to ask the questions—together, with you.
So tell me—what questions do you have?
What topics do you want to explore in your own life, your family, your relationships, your body?
Drop them in the comments, or DM me if you prefer.
We’re building this together. ♥️ 🫂
I am on a personal growth journey as both a husband and father that involve healing from childhood wounds (related to growing up in a working class Black family with familiar challenges) that have impacted how I show up in the household. So I really appreciate you creating space for these types of honest conversations. Very much needed.
Cannot wait for the new journals. Thank you for making an effort to keep us smiling and learning in this time.
