People sometimes ask, “Why don’t you just block them?”
It’s a reasonable question. When someone is harassing you, spreading falsehoods, or spewing vitriol, the impulse to shut it down — to mute, to block, to disappear it — is strong.
But here’s why we don’t block.
We believe in truth over comfort.
Blocking may create peace in the short term, but it also creates a blind spot. And when people are actively trying to harm you — personally, professionally, or reputationally — losing visibility into their actions can be dangerous.
By not blocking, we stay aware of what is being said, how it’s evolving, and who’s amplifying it. We see what’s being organized, and we know what needs to be corrected or documented. We don’t give hostility free rein in the shadows.
We believe in radical transparency.
We’d rather let people witness the contrast between evidence and lies, between grounded leadership and online chaos. The light will do more to disarm disinformation than silence ever could.
We believe in principle, not performative civility.
Silence is not always safety. And choosing not to block isn’t passivity — it’s strategic clarity. We will not cede our visibility or agency because someone else is uncomfortable with our truth.
This doesn’t mean we won’t act.
We document, report, and escalate when threats or defamation occur.
But we don’t block — not because we’re afraid to protect ourselves, but because we’re committed to understanding the landscape in which this harm is operating.
1️⃣ Awareness is defense.
2️⃣ Truth is resistance.
3️⃣ Visibility is power.
And we intend to keep all three.
Thank you for standing with us. ♥️
