🟢 When You Join the Diosa Ara Community
You are not becoming a patient.
You are becoming part of a broader community—people who are hungry for care that is clear, courageous, and culturally grounded. You may choose to become a patient with us, but that is a separate service with a distinct relationship, intake process, and legal framework.
🔒 Why We Separate Community and Care
We are licensed physicians. That means we are held to strict standards about how and when we practice medicine.
In this space, we:
• Educate.
• Build community.
• Speak from experience.
• Advocate for structural change.
We do not:
• Offer personalized medical care.
• Diagnose, prescribe, or treat.
• Engage in clinical relationships with every subscriber.
This separation protects you, us, and the integrity of this work.
📰 What Each Journal Is For:
✳️ The Diosa Ara Blueprint
Company Updates, Infrastructure, and Transparency
This is where you’ll find:
• What we’re building (and why)
• How we’re structured
• Why we chose a for-profit model
• Why we don’t currently accept insurance
• How you can support as a founding patient or community ally
We promise: this space is not for marketing gimmicks. We won’t spam you with product launches. Our “marketing,” if you want to call it that, is our presence and philosophy.
🩺 Women’s Health: Empowered Care, Informed Choices
Science-forward, clinically rigorous, always reproductive justice first
• Rooted in medical evidence
• Transparent when we challenge guidelines
• Values-aligned, but clear about what’s opinion vs. consensus
• A place to get smarter, clearer, and more equipped to advocate for yourself
Bias exists. We name ours: reproductive justice is our compass. That’s not neutrality—it’s integrity.
✊🏾 In Her Name: The Cost of Control
Where reproductive justice meets the current moment
• Politically explicit
• Story-driven
• Experimental in format—fiction, commentary, deep dives
• A space to say the quiet parts out loud
You’ll also find special projects like:
• The Dossier – Investigative series and legal analysis
• Know Your Rights
• Brought to You by Racism
• Make Health Great Again
We do not believe you can practice reproductive medicine without engaging with the systems that shape it. This is where we tell the truth about those systems.
⚠️ What to Expect Across All Journals
• You may see clinical topics—but you are not receiving clinical care.
• You may read about laws—but you are not receiving legal advice.
• You may feel seen—but this is not a substitute for therapy.
You will:
• Be told what kind of relationship you’re entering at every stage.
• Have the right to clarity, consent, and clean boundaries.
• Always know where your data and dollars are going.
